Kidnapping/Armed Robbery 500 Howard Drive

Secret Witness is offering a reward in the amount of $2,000.00 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect wanted in connection with the kidnapping and armed robbery of a female at 668 N. McCarran Blvd. Sparks, NV. On June 9, 2009 at approximately 9:24 p.m. officers responded to the 500 block of Howard Drive on a report of a kidnapping and armed robbery. The female victim reported that she was getting into her vehicle at the N. McCarran location when the suspect approached her and demanded money. The victim told the suspect she had no money and he pulled a knife and forced her into the vehicle. The suspect demanded the victims ATM card and the victim complied. The suspect drove the victim to a Wells Fargo Bank at 400 N. McCarran and withdrew an undetermined amount of cash. The suspect drove the victim to the Howard Drive location where he exited the vehicle and fled on foot taking the victim’s car keys. The victim then called police. The suspect is described as an Asian or Hispanic male adult in his 20’s, approximately 5’8” tall, medium build, clean shaven, short black hair, wearing a brown or tan “hoodie” type jacket and white and brown plaid shorts. Kidnap Robbery 2 Females Golden Valley Area

Secret Witness is offering a reward in the amount of $2,000.00 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspects wanted in connection with the kidnapping and robbery of two females, one 18-years-old and the other a juvenile, in the Raleigh Heights Park area Reno, NV. On August 13, 2009 at approximately 9:00 p.m. the two female victims were taken against their will while parked in the hills above Raleigh Heights Park. The suspects forced the juvenile victim to drive out of the area toward Red Rock in a black 4-door sedan that the females were driving. After the suspects robbed and battered her, the 18-year-old victim was able to contact authorities just before 11:00 p.m. The juvenile female was dropped off in the Lemmon Valley area before the suspects fled. The suspects are described as possibly Hispanic adults, in their late teens to early 20’s, 5’8” to 5’10” tall, slender builds, wearing dark clothing with dark hoodie style sweatshirts and baseball caps. Missing 16 year old Karamjit Kaur

Secret Witness is offering a reward for information leading to the whereabouts of missing 16-year-old KARAMJIT KAUR. The female East Indian juvenile has been missing since approximately 6:30 p.m. on September 30, 2009. Karamjit Kaur was last seen riding her red and silver mountain bike from her residence located on Anchor Point Dr. Reno, NV. She has not been seen since. Authorities consider the circumstance suspicious since this very unusual behavior for this individual. Everyone involved is concerned for her well-being. The missing juvenile is described as an East Indian female juvenile, born August 5, 1993, approximately 5’7” tall, 140 pounds, short long black hair, brown eyes, scar on forehead, left canine tooth is longer, wearing a black v-neck short sleeve t-shirt, bright blue cotton pajama bottoms, and black flip-flops. Attempted Kidnapping 2200 block of Oddie Blvd.

Secret Witness is offering a reward in the amount of $1,000.00 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect wanted in connection with the attempted kidnapping of a 18-year-old Sparks female in the area of the 2200 block of Oddie Blvd. Sparks, NV. On November 20, 2009 at approximately 11:00 a.m. the victim was exiting her vehicle when the suspect grabbed her from behind. The victim was able to struggle free and the suspect fled through the parking lot. The suspect is described as a light skinned Hispanic male, 25 to 30 years old, approximately 5’6” to 5’8” tall, wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt and dark pants. The victim reported seeing a white colored cargo van in the area. A similar van has been mentioned in other suspicious incidents in Sparks. Attempted Kidnapping female victim 5-11-10

Secret Witness is offering a reward in the amount of $1,500.00 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect wanted in connection with the attempted kidnapping of a 15-year-old female victim walking between buildings at the Coral Academy of Science 1350 E. 9th Street Reno, NV. On May 11, 2010 at approximately 8:20 a.m. the suspect approached the victim and spoke with her briefly before grabbing her by the arm. The suspect then tried to pull the victim with him. The victim screamed, struggled, and pulled away from the suspect. The suspect fled on foot heading westbound. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male adult, approximately 21 years old, 5’10”, thin build, clean-shaven, shaved head, wearing a black “hoodie” sweatshirt, brown “Dickie” pants and white shoes. Kidnapping and Attempted Robbery 7th and Sierra

Secret Witness is offering a reward in the amount of $1,500.00 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect wanted in connection with the kidnapping/carjacking and attempted robbery of 23-year-old male victim in the area of downtown Reno, NV. On July 28, 2010 at approximately 4:34 p.m. the victim was approached by the suspect while sitting in his vehicle. The suspect opened the passenger door to the victim’s vehicle and jumped inside stating he had a gun. The suspect told the victim to drive. When the victim got into the area of 7th and Sierra he decided to leave the vehicle and run for help. There was a minor crash while the victim jumped or was pushed by the suspect from the vehicle. The suspect fled running into the Circus-Circus Casino and was seen on video running from there into the Silver Legacy and leaving the Hotel-Casino. The suspect had a satchel over his right shoulder where he claimed to have a gun. The victim was not injured. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male adult, 25 to 35 years old, approximately 6’ tall, wearing an oversized white t-shirt and light blue pants. Attempted Kidnapping Female Juvenile Ventana Pkwy

Secret Witness is offering a reward in the amount of $1,000.00 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect wanted in connection with the attempted kidnapping of a 14 year old female in the area of 4900 Ventana Parkway Reno, NV. On September 9, 2010 the suspect approached the female juvenile near the bus stop after school and tried to lure her to the trunk of his car. The juvenile walked away and reported the incident to her mother at home. The suspect is described as a white male adult, 55 to 70 years old, 5’8” to 5’10” tall, thin to medium build, and a medium sized mole under one eye. The suspect vehicle is described as a green older model two door coupe or sedan, possibly a Toyota or Honda, and may have a Star of David decal on the rear window. The Sheriff’s Office has received several unconfirmed reports of incidents possibly involving this suspect. Attempted Kidnapping of Juvenile Male Galena area

Secret Witness is offering a reward in the amount of $1,000.00 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspects wanted in connection with the attempted kidnapping of a 15 year old male juvenile in the area of Edmonton Drive and Medford Drive Reno, NV. On April 29, 2011 at approximately 1:20 p.m. the male juvenile was walking back to school from a nearby residence when he was approached by a black colored 2-door Toyota Tacoma lifted pickup truck with unknown Nevada license plates, tinted windows, and occupied by two male suspects. The suspect vehicle stopped by the victim and the passenger exited attempting to grab the victim by the shirt collar and backpack. The victim escaped and ran off leaving his backpack behind. The passenger suspect is described as a white male adult, mid 30‘s, approximately 6’2” tall, slim build, dark slicked back hair, wearing a gray shirt, light blue colored jeans, and silver sunglasses. Attempted Luring of 12 year old female

Secret Witness is offering a reward in the amount of $1,000.00 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspects wanted in connection with the attempted luring of a female juvenile. On May 30, 2011 at approximately 6:40 p.m. the 12 year old female victim was riding her bike in the area of Foster and Hunter Lake when a newer model red two door pickup pulled to the curb and the passenger asked if she wanted a ride. The victim declined but the suspect exited the vehicle, approached her, and again asked her to get in the vehicle. The victim got scared and road her bike out of the area to her residence and notified authorities. The suspect is described as a white male adult, late 20’s to early 30’s, red hair and beard, wearing black square framed glasses, brown flannel shirt or jacket, and blue jeans. Attempted Luring 16 year old female 6-6-11

On June 6, 2011 at approximately 8:50 p.m. the female victim was exercising in the above area when a dark blue four door vehicle with tinted windows drove along side of her. A male suspect with a deep voice told the victim to get into the car. The victim continued to walk away from the vehicle and the suspect again told her to get into the car. The victim then ran and made it to her residence. The victim was afraid to look at the suspect so no description is available. Attempted Kidnapping Female Victim

Secret Witness is offering a reward in the amount of $1,000.00 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspects wanted in connection with the attempted kidnapping of a female victim in the area of Marvin Moss Elementary School 2200 Primio Way Sparks, NV. On April 3, 2012 at approximately 11:50 a.m. the victim was walking west on South D‘Andrea at Dirienzo when a vehicle pulled up across the street and two suspects got out. One suspect tried to start a conversation with the victim and began walking towards her. As the victim walked away the suspect followed. The second suspect opened the rear hatch of the vehicle and the first suspect began running towards the victim. The victim ran to the school and the police were notified. The suspects are described as two white or light skinned Latino males, dark hair, wearing black pull over hooded sweatshirts and light colored cargo pants. The suspect vehicle is described as a white colored older model mid-sized SUV similar to a Ford Explorer of Chevrolet Blazer. Missing Woman With Two Children

Secret Witness is offering a reward for information leading to the whereabouts of 24 year old Vanessa Head and her two children, 2 year old Michael Scanlon and 10 year old Lilly Scanlon, who went missing on July 7, 2012 from the 1400 block of N. O’Brien Way Sparks, NV. On July 7, 2012 between approximately 2:00 and 3:00 p.m. Vanessa Head told her family she was meeting a new boyfriend, who she apparently had met on-line. Head and her two children were seen getting into a light grey or silver colored sedan driven by an unidentified black male adult wearing a white bandana and black shorts. Head and the children have not been seen since. Head is known to have a cognitive disability, Family and friends are concerned about the welfare of Head and especially the two children. Kidnapping/Robbery Female Victim

Secret Witness is offering a reward in the amount of $2,000.00 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect wanted in connection with the kidnapping/robbery of a female victim in the area of 1701 Victorian Ave. Sparks, NV. On August 16th, 2012 at approximately 9:14 p.m. the Sparks Police Department received a call for service regarding a possible kidnapping and robbery. Officers were dispatched to a Reno address to meet with the female victim. Upon arrival the officers learned the following: On this date just prior to Sparks Police Department receiving the call, the female victim was in her vehicle, parked in the lot of the AM/PM market located at 1701 Victorian Av. A white male got into the victim\'s vehicle and showed her a handgun. The suspect told the victim to drive and directed her to a dirt road in the Caughlin Ranch area. The suspect ordered the victim to stop the vehicle and then took her wallet containing an undetermined amount of cash. The suspect fled on foot in an unknown direction. The victim was not harmed and the weapon was never discharged. The suspect is described as a white male adult, approximately 50 years old, scruffy beard, heavy set, last seen wearing a flannel jacket. Attempted Kidnapping Female Victim 3-12-13

Secret Witness is offering a reward in the amount of $2,000.00 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect wanted in connection with the attempted kidnapping of a female victim in the area of the 2100 block of Victorian Ave. Sparks, NV. On March 12, 2013 at approximately 9:28 p.m. the Sparks Police Department received a call of an attempted kidnapping. Officers responded to the area and met with a female victim as well as a male witness. The victim stated she was in a convenience store in the 2100 block of Victorian Ave when she noticed a white van parked out front. A Hispanic male adult was in the van and was honking the horn as if he were trying to get someone’s attention. The suspect then began flashing the headlights on the van as the victim walked out of the store. The victim approached the van and as she did so the suspect changed seats and opened the passenger side door. The suspect was pointing a handgun at the victim and exposing his genitals to the her. The suspect set the gun down and suddenly grabbed the victim by the arm attempting to drag her into the van while telling her she was coming with him. The victim struggled with the suspect and managed to break his grasp which caused a minor injury to her arm. A male witness and friend of the victim was nearby and heard the commotion. He confronted the suspect who in turn brandished the handgun at the witness and drove away. The male witness then called Sparks P.D. and gave a description of the suspect and his vehicle. Officers checked the area but were unable to located the van. The vehicle is described as a white full-size panel style van with no side windows, California license plates, and possibly a black metal cage in the interior. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male adult, 30-40 years of age, short brown hair and brown eyes, wearing a dark colored hoodie sweatshirt and jeans. BDW Kidnapping Male Victim

Secret Witness is offering a reward in the amount of $1,000.00 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspects wanted in connection with the BDW shooting in the area of the 1100 block of East 4th St. Reno, NV. On March 15, 2013 at about 12:20 a.m. officers with the Reno Police Department responded to the area of Wells Avenue and Roberts Street on several reports of a fight with a subject yelling for help. When Officers arrived on scene, they located blood in the area but did not locate a victim. Witnesses reported that the victim had been beaten by several subjects and pulled into an unknown model vehicle. At about 3:00 a.m. officers responded to an alley near Cheney Street on a report of an injured subject. They located a 53 year old Reno resident who was suffering from multiple stab wounds. It was determined that this subject was the victim from the earlier fight and kidnapping. The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Child Luring

Secret Witness is offering a reward in the amount of $1,000.00 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect wanted in connection with the attempted child luring in the area of 555 Sullivan Lane Sparks, NV. On March 22, 2013 at approximately 6:30 a.m. Sparks Police officers responded to a report of a possible child luring incident that occurred in the above area. A 15 year old Sparks resident divulged to her mother that an adult male had contacted her twice when she was walking to a friends house and the mother called police. The investigation indicates that the juvenile was walking south bound on Sullivan Lane when she observed a gold 4-door SUV type vehicle traveling north bound on Sullivan at a very slow speed. After the vehicle passed, the driver, who was the only occupant of the vehicle, made a u-turn and pulled up along side the juvenile and asked her if he could give her a ride. The juvenile ignored the subject and continued to walk away. The subject in the SUV turned into 555 Sullivan Lane, which is an apartment complex, and drove to the exit driveway and stopped as the juvenile walked in front of his vehicle. The subject then exited his vehicle and approached the juvenile again asking her if he could give her a ride. The juvenile did not respond to the subject and she entered a gated apartment complex just south of 555 Sullivan. The subject then left the area in an unknown direction of travel. The vehicle is described only as a gold 4-door SUV, possibly a GMC, with Nevada license plates. The driver was described as an black male adult between 30 and 40 years of age, approximately 6 feet tall and weighing approximately 160 to 170 pounds. The subject was also described as having collar length hair that was in corn rows and a slight southern accent.
